Southeastern Enterprises began in 1977 when Fred Miltz, an engineer, and successful sales representative, opened his shop for business. He and his sons built a thriving business around the tire and wood products industries. In 1998, the company was purchased by Container Products Corporation of Wilmington, a large fabrication company involved in the Nuclear Power industry. Both companies continue to grow and expand services.
