These machines are high production, computer-controlled workhorses. They are programmed to produce simple to complex parts of a wide variety of materials, using a number of tools that change out automatically. They are very accurate and fast.
These machines are manually operated to produce one to ten parts depending on the complexity. These machines are used for one time orders, made by skilled machinists.
We specialize in the machining of large plate, large castings, and of weldments requiring flat and parallel surfaces. Note that this type of machining is our specialty. We can machine very large parts, plate, and castings that other shops cannot.
This is the process of cutting steel sheet, tubing, grating, and steel plate. We can provide individual components or use them to construct an assembly. Some of these component parts are formed, rolled, or bent and may be bolted or welded together.
We offer MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding for a variety of materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.
We offer new rolls made of carbon or stainless steel. We use double heads in our larger roll diameters, to prevent flexing. We repair journals and replace broken journals as well.
Rubber rolls can be recovered numerous times, extending the life of the roll. We offer a variety of rubber types, durometers, and colors. Allow us to quote new rubber rolls for you should you need spares, including crates, should you need them.
This process provides flat parts cut from sheet steel. Nesting parts uses all available material while cutting several different parts from the same sheet of metal, saving you money. Flat parts can be used as they are or they can be formed and or welded.
This method of cutting involves extremely high pressure, high speed, high-density water. It allows for precision cutting with tight tolerances and eliminates slag deformation and dross waste.
The process of electroplating a thin layer of chromium onto a metal object. This can be for decorative reasons as well as increased corrosion resistance and surface hardness.
Black Oxide treatment is also known as Blackening. The treatment adds nothing to the size of the part, only serves to prevent rust and glare. The appearance of the material changes from natural steel to black.
This is an acid coating used to protect steel, cast iron, copper, and brass. It provides excellent corrosion resistance and is great for high-temperature applications.
Southeastern can provide Castings and the patterns required to produce them. If you need cast parts, we can provide those parts complete from pattern through the machining process. We are glad to machine your castings to print, should you already have a source.
Balancing of turning parts reduces vibration at high speeds. This ensures longer bearing life and improved product quality.
Wire EDM Machining is used to cut shapes, holes, profiles, and slots to exacting dimensions. This process can be used on a variety of metals.
We are capable of cutting keyways in shafts, blocks, pulleys, sprockets, and gears. Our slotter machine can cut up to 2″ keyways in bores and is used to cut internal splines as well.
We offer surface (flat) grinding, OD grinding, ID grinding and grinding to parallel. This allows for precision finishes with high surface quality on the inside and outside of your part.
